When I arrived here in America, I didn't understand what's Black Friday is all about, I thought it was like a Catholic thing during Lenten Season, but actually it's a shopping day and it is when you can find the best deal in the country, I have seen hundreds of people trying to wake up early just to go first in the line as soon as the stores open and some of them even sleep outside the stores even if it is freezing cold. Still I believed that the sales item that the stores giving are those items that didn't sell during the year or some returned items that they could hardly get rid off. A couple of year ago a friend of mine purchased an HDTV but as soon as they arrived home from the store the TV they just bought are messing up, it took them a few days before they were able to used it, because they had to call a technician from the store where they purchased the TV, so then finally it worked but they have to pay the labor in fixing the damn TV, so I don't think they got a great deal on that one.
Last year I wanted to fall in line at Kohl's because they had this nice jewelries that I really like, but my husband didn't wake me up, when I get up from bed it was already 7:00am and it is obviously so late for sales, they would have been gone already and I might end up buying the items which aren't for sale, my husband wouldn't like that. So this year I will try to look some sales online so I don't have to freeze myself early in the morning. Actually I'm waiting for a Blackberry or iPhone Prepaid to be on the market, I hate contracts.
