I have been working as a staff in a small motel, I was hoping the job will stay for few years, as of now I have been working there for a couple of years and is happy about it, even though the recession began 11 months ago I never really felt it until today when all the workers in the power plant are going home and getting laid off, excel energy workers are mostly our guest, so if they are losing their jobs I'm losing mine too and my bosses won't be happy about it either.
They said the power plant will hired guys again on September, that's kinda scary it means I don't have enough money for a couple of months, I have a bills to pay and it's just so bad. I'm hoping this recession could end very soon and that there are alot of guest in the motel again so I'll have more job.
How about you guys? How's your job? Have you felt the surging economy as of now? I know there are still alot of people who are able to keep their job and still living good right now, how about the other people who are losing their work, what will happen to them?
